What can we say about 2011? It was eventful, yes, we thought 2010 would be difficult to beat, but beat it we did. Our tally of top awards has grown again and we now have 34 consecutive top medal prizes!
Our third Chelsea Gold Medal Award was special and the response from our visitors was really good. Thanks to all of you for your encouraging comments and to everyone who visited us at any of the shows.
We added another Best in Show which was obtained in Ayr. We picked up Trophies at Harrogate, both Spring and Autumn, Shrewsbury and Southport.
Our list of dates for the 2012 show season are confirmed here on our web site and also on our new iPhone App & Mobile web site, and for the first time we have included a price list of plants available in various pot sizes.
Please remember we will be adding post and packaging to your orders so enquire as to the cost to be calculated.
Please note we have added a new venue to us this year and that is Holker Hall near Grange-over-Sands. See you there perhaps?
We had a tough year because the economic climate did not help and with the loss of Vicki's dad at the beginning of the year we took her mom on the road with us. She loved every minute of it, was not a bit of bother and made a lot of friends on the circuit. However, on return to home in September she declined in health and passed away in December. It has been a big blow to both of us, especially Vicki, but we are starting to gear ourselves up to begin the 2012 season in mid April at Cardiff.
We aim to bring to you well-grown and established small plants to mature specimens worthy of display and admiration. We can guide you through your first steps of succulent growing through to providing challenging plants for your enjoyment with a helpful and professional quality service. By purchasing plants from us we will spend time in explaining how to nurture and cosset them to perfection and beautiful flowering.
We look forward to meeting you at any of the shows shown on this website, but in the meantime; if you have any problems or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
If there are any plants you would specifically like to be taken to a show we will gladly oblige, providing we have fourteen days notice and the plants are available.
